Basketball ClubTTT Riga”Has agreed on a one-year contract with the Latvian women’s basketball national team player Ieva Pulveris, the team has announced.

Powder returns to professional sports after a one-year break and the birth of a son. Ieva is one of the four mothers in TTT (Karlīne Pilābere, Aija Klakockka and Taisija Udodenko). In July and August he trained in the Latvian national team, participating in a test match against the Finnish national team.

In 2019, the defense helped TTT achieve the Euroleague “Top 8”, showing the best result in 34 seasons. Pulvere scored 8.2 points on average in 29.3 minutes in 18 games (fourth best score in the team), made 3.9 assists (second best score), won 3.2 rebounds, caught 1.1 balls, scored the best +/- score of 8.6 and earned an efficiency of 8.5.

In the Latvian, Estonian and Lithuanian leagues, Pulvere scored 10.5 points in an average of 22:02 minutes in 15 games, made 5.9 passes, won 3.6 balls under baskets and earned an efficiency of 16.1. In the European League, the defense scored an average of 23.14 minutes in 11 games with 10.1 points and 3.0 assists, as well as 2.5 rebounds and a efficiency of 10.8.

Powder has played in three European Championship finals (2013, 2017, 2019) and the World Cup (Tenerife 2018). He made his debut in the Latvian national team on May 19, 2012, scoring 507 points in 90 games. Played in seven European youth championships – 55 games, 374 points. One of the eight Latvian basketball players who has won two medals in the European U20 Championship (2009, 2010).
