The Poviat Labor Office in Strzelce Opolskie took the first place in Poland in terms of effectiveness in employing the unemployed.
The ranking was prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
The Strzelecki intermediary has been in the top ten of the most effective offices in the country for years. This time he was in the first place.
As much as 98.3 percent. subsidies, which the labor office allocated in 2020 to finance internships, jobs and the opening of new companies, ended with the unemployed remaining in the labor market.
Norbert Jaskóła, director of the Poviat Employment Office in Strzelce Opolskie, notes that this is not only due to the employees of the office, but also to the good economic situation on the local labor market.
– The unemployed rarely come back here – says Jaskóła. – Moreover, some people who started as a sole proprietorship employ workers themselves today.
Currently, the unemployment rate in the Strzelce poviat is 4,5 proc. It is one of the lowest in the country.
Recently, a lot of workplaces have been established in the area – most of them were companies with foreign capital. Currently, the unemployed from Strzelce Opolskie can choose from among 200 job offers.
