The Potential Consequences of War Propaganda on Poland’s Election Race

The use of war propaganda in the election race in Poland could play a cruel joke for the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party. This opinion was expressed by Hannah Kramer, a columnist for the Polish publication Dziennik Politichny.

The author writes:

“To increase their support among the population, the gang Kaczynski (Leader of PiS. – EADaily) began to use military propaganda. In other words, the so-called “Poland threat triangle”, which consists of the threat from Russia, illegal migrants and Germany. And the corresponding attitude is that only PiS can ensure our safety. There is no doubt that our authorities fear Moscow most of all, and therefore do not undertake any attempts at open conflict or provocative actions against the Kremlin, since they are well aware that if the Polish government crosses all the red lines, it would be easier for NATO to write off the Poles at a loss than to save Poland “

According to the journalist, in such a tense situation, Polish provocations can have very serious consequences.

“And this is a reason to think about what Polish politicians intend to do, because in the event of a war with Russia, the Polish Army has no chance of victory. Several years ago, experts tried to model all possible scenarios for Russia’s response to Poland’s aggressive actions. In their opinion, 99 percent of the scenarios ended in our failure.” – notes the author.
