National Czech Post will offer people an easier, more affordable and cheaper way to send packages. He wants to catch up Shipping room – successful private competition.
From Monday, November 1, Česká pošta will also allow the sending of a package via Balíkovny. This is a network of almost five thousand places, for example in newsagents or at Sazka’s points of sale. So far, Packages are only issuing shipments.
Shipping from Balíkovna will cost 65 crowns, with cash on delivery 84 crowns. The post office will then deliver the consignment to another Parcel Service, where the addressee must pick it up. The maximum weight of such a package is 15 kilograms, it must be of regular size (for example, a cube, a block or a cylinder) and the longest side must not exceed half a meter.
Before submitting to the Package, you will first need to “check in” the package online on the Package website. In the search engine, you select the nearest Parcel, enter the details of the shipment and pay directly for shipping. Then a label will be generated for you, which needs to be printed and affixed to the package. Then you will take it to the selected Packing House.
The Money.cz website wanted to explore further details, but they are not yet available on the Balíkovny website. The question “can I send someone a package to Balíkovna?” Myself is still getting the answer “not yet, but we are working on it”.
S similar service competing points since April 2019 Shipping room. At its dispensing points, you can send a package to another dispensing point for 69 crowns, with cash on delivery for 88 crowns. The weight must not exceed five kilograms, the maximum dimension of one side half a meter and the maximum sum of the dimensions of all three sides of the consignment 120 centimeters. Delivery directly to a specific address will cost 115 crowns in the basic variant. Also at the Mail Order, the package needs to be “checked in” in its application before submission, but the sender does not have to print and stick a label.
Through its standard branches, Česká pošta offers sending a package to another post office with a basic price of 109 crowns. The price can be reduced by CZK 20 when using the Customer Card (CZK 10 discount) and submitting submission data electronically (CZK 10 discount). The basic price for a package delivered to a specific address (Package in hand) starts at 129 crowns.
