The post office in Löszkogöd will be reopened, Mayor Zoltán Kammerer – Dunakanyar Region announced

“The year starts with good news, which I have mentioned several times, has finally become a reality; it has been decided that the building of the post office in Löszkogöd will become the property of our city, so the office will soon be operating again!” Zoltán Kammerer, mayor of Göd, announced on his social media page.

“In recent months, many people have told me how much difficulty the lack of post office and ATMs causes for the people living in Felsőgöd, so I considered it a priority task to solve this problem with my colleagues.

Mayor Zoltán Kammerer: Magyar Posta Zrt. will sell the post office building in Upper Göd to the Municipality of Göd at a favorable price

As I reported earlier, I held negotiations with Barnabás Balczó, the president and CEO of Magyar Posta Zrt., with whose assistance the company will sell the post office building in Göd to the Municipality of Göd at a favorable price.

At the same time, a postal partner contract is being concluded, as a result of which the post office in Löszkogöd is expected to reopen in early spring!

In accordance with the needs of the residents, there will also be an ATM at the building, the details of this are still being worked out, but we will do everything we can to ensure that it will be operational when the post office reopens,” promises the mayor of the city.
