Secretary General (Secretary General) DPR RI Indra Iskandar | appointed as commissioner of PT BiroClassification Indonesia (Persero). PT BKI is one of the companies under the Ministry of SOEs.
Indra said he had not received an official letter appointing him to be the commissioner of PT BKI. However, Indra, who is a state civil servant, is ready to carry out the commissioner’s duties.
“I have not received (the official letter from the Ministry of SOEs). But in principle, any assignment as an ASN must be carried out,” said Indra.
Referring to SOE Ministerial Regulation No. 10 of 2020 regarding the requirements for members of the board of commissioners and supervisory board, Indra said that he who is still an ASN is not prohibited from serving as commissioner of PT BKI.
“Essentially, PNS/ASN are not prohibited from being commissioners or advisors to directors. Through a selection process and determined by the Minister of SOEs as long as they are still active as ASN (not retired) because they stop automatically when they retire,” said Indra
The appointment was also criticized by the Indonesian Parliamentary Concerned Community Forum (Formappi). Indra’s appointment is considered very detrimental to the DPR.
“As the highest control holder in the supporting system DPR, the appointment of Indra as commissioner of course made his workload increase.
