The domestic DNS store has begun accepting pre-orders for the Steam Deck OLED portable gaming console. Spoiler: the cost is twice as high as the official one.
Steam Deck OLED introduced early November 2023. The main feature is an OLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The updated console also received a more powerful processor and 50% increased autonomy.
The new product is 30 grams lighter, heats up less, supports Wi-Fi 6E and connects more reliably to Bluetooth accessories due to improved antennas.
Price of the set-top box in Russia
Official Russian cost of Steam Deck OLED – 89,999 rubles for the 512 GB version and 99,999 rubles for the 1 TB version. Pre-orders have already started, and open sales will begin on December 14.
The situation abroad is more optimistic. Firstly, sales of the console started earlier – on November 16th. Secondly, they are asking for the 512 GB version $549and 1 TB will cost $649. Translated according to the exchange rate this is 48,700 and 57,500 rubles respectively. The markup of the domestic retailer is almost 100%.
