The Port Authority raises the price of tolls

Starting this Sunday, the Port Authority’s toll increase for its six interstate crossings, which include the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels, goes into effect.

All tolls will increase by one dollar.

The charge for EZ Pass holders during off-peak hours will decrease from $11.75 cents to $12.75.75 cents.

And during PEAK it will go from $13.75 to $14.75.

The toll that is shipped to homes will go up from $16 to $17.

Staten Island residents paying a discounted rate should also prepare.

The maximum EZ Pass toll for county residents will increase from $6.88 to $7.38. The last time the Port Authority raised the tolls was in January 2020.
