The Port Administration Council Alicante, meeting today for the first time so far this year, has given the green light to the specific modification number 6 of the special port plan. Specifically, relative to the areas included in docks 3 and 5, that is, the Club de Regatas and Panoramis. The modification allows to extend the surface maximum authorized for office use, going from the current 25 percent up to 80 percent, to foster the growth of the Digital District.
What’s more, the Port Authority has agreed to dedicate one of the most solemn areasbe institutional of the port a Perfect Palace of the Fountain, father of the current president of the CEV employers’ association, in recognition of his promotion and revitalization of port activity.
Bulk unloading
On the other hand, It has also been reported today to the advisers on the schedule of works of the closed warehouse from pier 17 for unloading of bulk solid. The works will end in October of this year and machinery and other equipment will be installed in order to be operational in January of 2022.
