The singer was arrested and taken to the Sixth Police Station, where a blood sample was taken. And she tested positive for drugs. And Diona was released on bail of BGN 5,000 – just as much as her fee for participating in an establishment.
Almost standardly, Diona makes the excuse that she was on flu medicine. And the unfair accusation would greatly damage her image.
“It was terrible in the detention center. All night I lay on the floor of the cell and cried,” complained Diona. However, the most shocked by the incident was her mother, who found out about her daughter’s arrest on the news. The folk diva had a lot of missed calls, but they did not allow her to contact your loved ones.
“This is probably the worst night of my life,” said Diona.
Which may be a bit of an exaggeration, considering the singer’s biography. And that all her life, according to her, she struggled with racial discrimination.
Diona herself called herself in an interview “shy villager in front of the camera”. And she doesn’t hide that when she was just Denislava from Koinare, she was a “dumb gypsy” to her classmates. Her background was also the reason for her low grades at school, as well as her refusal of a university scholarship. For years, she couldn’t even answer the question of whether being Roma is actually a bad thing. And now he answers like this:
