The 43-year-old Urgant, who hosted the show “Evening with Urgant” on the Kremlin-controlled “First Channel” for ten years, is now away from Russia. The show was stopped after Urgant announced on February 24, “Fear and pain … No war!”
Foreign sources say that Urgant and his wife and two daughters flew to possibly Israel.
Ivan Urgant left Russia with his wife and two children. Presumably, he flew to Israel, #Russian media reported.
Urgant himself writes on Instagram: “Only without panic. I’m on vacation, but I’ll take it and come back!” This entry has also been praised by the popular comedian Maxim Galkin.
Urgant in Russia is like an analogue to the American Jimmy Kimmel, whose shows are already legendary.
