The Popular Party of Valladolid Wins Elections with Solvency: Conrado Íscar Set to be Re-elected as President for Second Term

The Popular Party of Valladolid has also won the elections in the province with solvency Valladolid. The PP of Valladolid has added a total of 109,349 votes, which allows it to distribute 803 councilors to the different municipalities of the Valladolid province. Four years ago it stayed at 97,992 votes. Translation in provincial deputies will grant him an absolute majority, established in 14, without the need for agreements as it has had in recent years with Ciudadanos. The question is whether it will add 15 or it will fall on the side of VOX.

The PSOE of Valladolid has added 92,685 (344 councilors), down from almost 98,000 in 2019. VOX is the third most voted force with 28,334 votes and a total of 53 councilors. Toma la Palabra remains at 20,007 (42) and Ciudadanos adds 5,193 (20). A significant piece of information is that the platform for burying Valladolid, converted into a political party with the acronym of Contigo Avanzamos, has obtained four councilors with a mayoralty in the town of Hornillos de Eresma.

In addition to the result in Valladolid capital, the provincial PP has added 17,000 more votes than the PSOE at a general level, which ratifies Conrado Íscar as future new president of the Provincial Council.
