Born on November 15, 1965, the Lacquered rural center for young people and popular education in Moussac-sur-Vienne (1), would have turned 57 this year. Since 1996, it has been helping to animate the village by offering various activities for young and old (sport, dance, theatre, travel, manual activities, etc.). Unfortunately, following the health crisis which brought all its activities to a sudden halt and the aging of its members, the Board of Directors, aware that the succession is no longer assured, decided to convene an extraordinary general meeting(2) in order to dissolve the association and to decide on the use and distribution of the material it owns, the storage of archives and the distribution of financial assets. In the presence of Daniel Bourgoin, mayor of Moussac, the president, Ghyslaine Bourriaux, reported on the provisions decided unanimously: donation of projectors to the town for use by local associations; audiovisual and sound donated to the association Le Corbeau Blanc de Queaux; Gym equipment, dumbbells and rubber bands shared between members. For floor mats, see the Voluntary Gym of L’Isle-Jourdain or failing that with Le Corbeau Blanc. Balloons and ropes are offered to the town hall for camping. For the costumes, see the Federation of Lacquered Works of Vienna or, failing that, Emmas. The archives will be stored at the town hall. With regard to the financial situation, the association has a sum of €2,177.29. A provision of €800 has been made to finance the last meal taken together which took place on July 9th. The balance will be donated in equal shares to the Moussac media library, the Moussac Toujours association and the CCAS.
(1) The association was approved by the sub-prefect of Montmorillon in January 1966, approved as popular education by the Departmental Directorate of Youth and Sports in November 1967 and affiliated with the Education League, Federation of Lacquered Works of Vienne since its creation.
(2) The Board of Directors is made up of Ghyslaine Bourriaux (Chair), Nicole Rossard (Vice-Chair), Rene Prouteau and Jacqueline Compain (Treasurers), Gisle Michardire and Marcelle Trouv (Secretaries). Sabine Chantmargue, Muriel Devaux, Andr Goyer , Nicole Guyon, Solange Joyeux, Bleuette Lacouture and Jean Pinard complete the office.
