The popular Czech food seller suddenly became cheaper. People save a lot of money

Who wouldn’t want to be a little relieved in these difficult times. People look for every opportunity to save and find that there are not too many of them. It has been rising significantly for several months in a row, and sometimes prices seem to change literally before our eyes. One week your favorite product costs an amount and a week later it is twenty percent more.

There is room for discount

So far, this development does not seem to end. On the other hand, it turns out that some traders are increasing their margins more than would be appropriate. Respectively, more than they would need to cover the rising costs. This then increases the room for maneuver. After a higher price increase, a certain discount may come.

This is exactly what the Žabka retail chain has just shown. He runs rather smaller shops, where people go for things of daily consumption, especially food. It was you who decided to reduce the price of the business. The truth is that his room for a discount was larger than his competitors, because he sold food a little more expensive due to smaller shops.

But now Žabka has decided to change this approach and, in the case of about two hundred products, has significantly reduced prices. It does not specify exactly what it should be, but it should be the ones that people buy the most. That is, especially pastries, eggs, sausages, dairy products, beverages, etc.

Margins too high

The truth is that the rise in some food prices has been difficult to bear. After all, the Ministry of Agriculture informed about its finding that in some cases the sellers put up to two hundred percent margin on ham, for example.

In any case, food prices need to return to reasonable limits. Such steps, where they become cheaper from high prices, can also help in this. Merchants may already find that people’s financial resources are not infinite and that they are already limiting their purchases.
