More and more people are choosing a meat-free diet, thus many of them are looking for interesting alternatives. One of them will be provided by the Polish start-up Napiferyn Biotech. Poles have developed a method of producing protein from rapeseed.

Since 2017, the Lodz start-up Napiferyn Biotech has been working on the creation of vegetable meat.They have developed an effective technology that allows the extraction of the necessary proteins from rapeseed called FIDOs (Functional Isolates Derived from Oilseeds). Thanks to this, you can create various types of products – from energy bars and desserts to vegetable meat substitutes.
The idea of a Lodz start-up has already been noticed. As the only Polish company out of 13 innovative agri-food projects, it will receive support from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. In total, almost EUR 5.4 million will be available for this purpose.
