Police attorney Børge Enoksen tells NRK that the accused has refused to cooperate with the police on a preliminary observation.
Such an observation is made by psychologists or psychiatrists, to examine whether the accused was sane at the time of the crime.
– There is a proposal for the appointment of experts in Oslo District Court. They will be appointed today, and start that job, says Enoksen.
Until now, the accused has not wanted to be questioned. He has demanded that the interrogation be sent live, for fear that the police will manipulate his explanation.
Enoksen says that they have a good dialogue with defender John Christian Elden, and have not given up that an interrogation will be possible.
NRK has sent a request to co-defender Bernt Heiberg to comment on the case.
Received over 70 tips
The police encourage companies to submit video recordings from the weekend before the deadline expires.
The storage time for videos in the public space is primarily seven days. Therefore, the deadline for companies to submit surveillance videos to the police is beginning to approach.
– We are looking at the possibility of asking companies to store video recordings from Friday and Saturday with themselves, says Enoch.
He states that any order will come later.

Police have received over 70 tips after they asked for more information on Wednesday. Several of the tips are interesting, according to Enoksen.
They do not want to go into detail on what video material they are sitting on, but that they are considering taking action to ensure that nothing is lost.
The police have not yet arrested or charged anyone further in the case.
– It is a relevant hypothesis for us to investigate whether there may be participants in this action, Enoksen says to NRK.

The hypotheses include hate crime and radicalization.
– It is natural to investigate whether the places where the shots hit are relevant, but I can not say more about that hypothesis now, Enoksen says.
The video material is central to the assessments of the goal.
Offered interrogation without admission
The police have offered the accused to conduct interrogations without sound and image. This is because they feel that it is urgent to find out if there are assistants.
Police are nevertheless sure that the accused was alone in carrying out the actual attack on Saturday night.
Two people were killed and 21 people injured after a shooting incident in central Oslo on the night of Saturday 25 June.
Zaniar Matapour (43) is charged with murder, attempted murder and terrorist acts.
PST chief Roger Berg has said that they have known the 43-year-old since 2015. The police also know him from before, and say that he has belonged to a network.
– We have talked to him and been worried that he was very radicalized and extreme, Berg told NRK on Tuesday.
Lowered the threat level
The Pride parade that was planned in Oslo on Saturday was canceled as a result of the shooting. The police could not guarantee security.
On Wednesday, PST changed the threat level from level 4 to level 5. Together with the police, they have obtained more information about the perpetrator and his contact network, and the situation appears less clear.
