Very slippery roads are reported in several places in the country on Wednesday night. The police in Trøndelag issue a warning to motorists about difficult driving conditions.

Police are asking motorists to consider the necessity of driving on Wednesday night.

At Malvik in Trøndelag, four cars were involved in a chain collision in the 18th century.
– VERY slippery and in addition strong wind. It has resulted in a car with a trailer, scissors, and other vehicles hit. Bilberger is on site, and a straw car has been ordered. The road is still blocked, the police write on Twitter.
The police decided on Wednesday night to block the E6 in Storlerbakken. At 20.30 they report that the road is open again.
– There are very demanding driving conditions throughout Trøndelag, as a result of significant temperature change, snowfall and strong winds. This has led to very slippery roads. Messages about traffic situations are flowing in. On the E6 out of Trondheim, we have had to stop all traffic. It is simply unjustifiable to drive there, says operations manager Solfrid Lægdheim to Dagbladet.
The public transport company AtB has also canceled all the buses in Trondheim due to weather and traffic, it is said the company’s website.

Soapy smooth
Difficult driving conditions have also been reported in Western Norway. West police district moved out to Florø center on Wednesday night, after a report of a car that had slipped into another car.
