The engine is turbocharged and assisted by a mild hybrid unit. The output is 245 kW (333 hp). It drives all wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission. An adaptive chassis is also part of the equipment.

“The new BMW vehicles, both in the commercial version and in the version of the Police of the Czech Republic, will be included mainly in the highway departments of the individual regional police directorates and in the nationwide department of the traffic police service, i.e. at the Special Surveillance Department of Bohemia and Moravia,” added Jiří Zlý, director of the traffic police service .
