They rushed to the scene after a report of a party riot, and said it was in connection with an arrest that the riots occurred.

Wednesday was more young people reported after the incident, and the police take a strong stand after the bad behavior. Police say they have spent a lot of resources on the case.

– As many as 19 young people from 14 to 16 years are registered as suspects or charged in connection with the incidents that took place on Hestsjøen.

According to the police, there were up to 50 young people at the scene when the patrol arrived.

– They have been reported for various matters such as breach of the identification obligation, obstruction and insult of a public official, non-compliance with orders and violence against a public official, the police write in a post on Facebook.

In the message from the police in Heimdal, Melhus and Klæbu, they have listed a list of points that they want to clarify.

– Democracy does not mean that the public in every situation should decide what the police should do or how the police should do their job, they write and continue:

– Freedom of speech does not mean that you can shout fuck the police, fucking pussy, morrapuler, ugly bastard, make threats in the face of a police officer, or demonstratively show the police the finger (“row finger”).

They inform that the police do not necessarily have to account for their actions to people who are nearby, but who are not involved in an incident.

– Duty to provide information does not mean that the police must explain their actions and decisions to people who are nearby but are not directly involved.

They also add that it is not all the information one can expect to get from the police.

– Confidentiality means that the police can not share information about a person who has been arrested / arrested or what he or she has done, even if it is your friend or you think it is unfair.
