The police stop the streets because of an illegal car incident in ‘s-Heerenberg

Police closed off several streets in ‘s-Heerenberg in East Gelderland last night due to a car collision. Hundreds of people attended the illegal event on the industrial estate, writes the regional newspaper The Gelderlander. The streets were closed to prevent new visitors.

At a car meet, car enthusiasts get together to show off their cars, usually pimped out, and do tricks with them. These sometimes include large gatherings that also attract audiences from Germany. This was also true in ‘s-Heerenberg, according to the newspaper.

It is not known if any fines were issued. The event lasted well into the night.
