The police report several Russian parties in Agder

On Sunday evening, the Agder police report complaints about two youth parties in Kristiansand and Mandal, respectively. In the former, there were between 50-70 young people who had gathered at a school.

All the participants, who the police describe as upcoming russ, ran from the place when the police arrived.

– Report of a lot of party noise and loud music in the area Budokka. It will also be next year’s russ who thinks it’s okay to start the school year by keeping others awake, the police write about the festivities in Mandal.

Operations Manager Øyvind Hægeland says that the noise level from the parties is overwhelming.

– They play really loud. The music thunders through the phone, even though those who call us have closed the window, he says.

– Many of those who call in are desperate, as the children are not allowed to sleep and many are going to work, the operations manager continues.

The party in Mandal has now ended by the police, and the party participants have moved on to another place. The police patrols they have spoken to are starting the last year of high school now, says the operations manager.

– I do not want to moralize too much, but I think it is strange that they start so early. Fill up before the first day of school is not a development we do not see as so good.

He praises the party participants in Mandal who left the party when they were told.

Also in the Eastern police district, the police ended a youth party on Sunday night, but operations manager Tom Sandberg informs TV 2 that it is unclear whether this was upcoming russ or not. There were 50 participants at the party in Oppaker.
