The Police locate the vehicle stolen from a Llanera taxi driver in Gijón
The vehicle that three individuals stole on Wednesday at the point of a knife from a Llanera taxi driver was found yesterday by a patrol of the Gijón National Police Corps in the Pescadores area, in the Jove parish of Gijón.
The finding reveals that the criminals abandoned him in a place close to where they had stolen him eight hours earlier.
The victim told this newspaper that the robbery had taken place next to a soccer field near El Musel, which could be the one used by the Puerto Soccer Club.
The Scientific Police are looking for evidence that will allow them to locate the criminals. The taxi driver assured that the vehicle, despite her fears, is intact.
In addition to the vehicle, the thieves took his mobile phone, a tablet and a sum of money, but they left him his wallet.

The events occurred on Wednesday when the taxi driver, who works at the Posada de Llanera stop, received a call to go to pick up some clients at the Cancun Motel, located in the town of Santa Rosa.
At first, the occupants asked him to take them to a junkyard in Gijón, but during the journey they changed their destination to go to Campa Torres by secondary roads.
It was when they began to pretend that they did not know how to locate their destination, until they ended up in front of the aforementioned soccer field. There they wielded a knife and forced her to leave the taxi, with which they fled at full speed.
The taxi driver is confident that the security cameras can help identify her attackers and does not rule out returning to work soon.
