Fourteen people arrested in France and more than 1,000 “child pornography” circulating on the internet were seized in November, during the second confinement, we learned Sunday from the gendarmerie.
Among the 14 arrested, three have already been sentenced to imprisonment, explains the gendarmerie in a statement, confirming information from the JDD. Eight others are awaiting trial and three were presented to an examining magistrate. A foreign suspect has also been identified.

The investigations were coordinated by the C3N, the gendarmerie’s digital crime center, in conjunction with Europol and the national child pornography center (CNAIP).
