Depok, Viva – After more than three months, the police finally named a suspect in the death of a Medan celebrity named Ella Nanda. Suspect A is the doctor who treated the victim during the liposuction operation at the WSJ Clinic located in Beji, Depok City.

“Now (there is a suspect). Yes, right now we are the doctors who are doing it. “The initials are A,” said the head of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Depok Metropolitan Police, Police Commissioner Suardi Jumaing, on Tuesday, November 5. 2024.
Doctor A was charged under the Health Law and the Penal Code. The threat of punishment is more than five years.

“Yes, due to negligence, including the health law. (The threat of punishment) is five years or more,” he said.
Currently, police have only named one suspect in Ella Nanda’s death. However, the possibility of other suspects has not been ruled out, as the owner of the clinic is also under investigation.

Depok Metropolitan Police investigators referred the cases to the Depok District Prosecutor’s Office. Only the status is incomplete or P21.

It is understood the clinic has reopened. However, it is not yet known whether it will be operational or not. The police cordon was lifted in the place.
“We opened yesterday, we still don’t have operations,” he admitted.
Suardi said his party does not allow clinical operations. Because it is within the Depok city government.
“If so, it will be in the licensing section, okay? We are simply committing a crime. “I don’t know if it works or not, it seems like it just opened,” he concluded.
