Every year at Christmas it is also contemplative in police stations around the country… and strange. So they took care of it Police officers of the special services of the Graz Police Inspectorate again this year for children’s eyes bright in the Clinical Department of Oncology of the LKH Graz.
With their special training, officers are usually on duty every day as a “rapid intervention team” (SIG) in case of increased risk and as a support unit for regular police patrols.
The eleven children currently stationed in oncology have taken men by surprise these days police teddy bears and purchased games. Moreover police officers donated 1,200 euros in cash to Styria’s children’s cancer charity (see title picture).
Police inspection Graz-Lend donated for the St. Christoph family home
The Graz-Lend Police Inspectorate showed courage again this year. Together, the team took part in the Christmas letter campaign by Caritas and Krone.
Officials donated to the House of the St. Christoph family in Graz-Liebenau. It is a socio-pedagogical structure in which mothers and fathers who are minors and adults are prepared and supported on their way towards an independent life.

Santa checks
Meanwhile, a traffic check in the Graz-Umwelt district has caused a stir. A patrol from the Hitzendorf police station stopped a man dressed entirely in red, with a thick beard and a pointed hat. He named himselfSanta Claus“. But that is not all:
The means of transport – one harley davidson instead of a winter reindeer sleigh – ultimately led to intensive human control.
Witnesses also claimed that the man wanted to challenge the work of Christkind, who is known here. Eventually, however, Santa and his elf were able to credibly prove that they were going on a Christmas charity trip. A denunciation in the sense of Christmas peace and the good cause was therefore abstained 😉
