In December 2017, Narayanan’s auto was taken away by the police saying that he would be released if he paid a fine of Rs 1000 and came with the proof of insurance. After working as a security guard in Kochi and earning 8000 rupees for the insurance premium, when he reached the station after 2 months, he saw that the auto had been demolished by an earth-moving machine. Companies won’t agree to renew insurance for an auto that can’t even be towed. It was an auto that was bought by selling the entire loan room.
As there was not enough space for the development of the station, it was decided to store the seized cars and the auto was demolished in the meantime, the police advised them to go to the case. The latter resorted to the District Legal Services Authority due to lack of funds for legal fees. Meanwhile, it was also learned that the auto was auctioned and sold at iron prices in 2022.
When Narayanan went to the collectorate yesterday, he got a reply that the complaint had been sent to the district police chief and that the police would investigate. When he reached the district police chief’s office, he was sent to investigate at the collectorate. Narayanan continues walking in the scorching sun.
