The police detained five migrants in Říčany, and arrived in the Czech Republic on the back of a truck

The men did not have documents with them and, according to the police, they got to the Czech Republic via Turkey, Greece and North Macedonia, the Czech Republic was not their destination.

According to Suchánková, 129 migrants were captured in the Central Bohemian Region this year, most often on the D1 motorway and during the unloading of foreign trucks on the premises of various companies. In all cases, the men were around 25 years old, the most common countries of origin were Afghanistan, Morocco, Algeria and Pakistan.
