The Brussels-Capital Ixelles police zone announces that it has carried out a cleanliness action “in perfect collaboration with the cleaning service of the municipality of Ixelles and the regional cleaning service“.
Results: 1,150 kilos of waste and illegal deposits searched and removed. “The action resulted in 18 fines for non-compliance with the waste deposit schedule, 28 fines for throwing cigarette butts and 2 fines for spitting on public roads. In addition, 12 other reports were drawn up for various other offenses“, lists the police zone.
The police also monitored traffic: “36 reports were drawn up for traffic violations, among others. In addition, 3 judicial reports were issued in drug-related matters. A person was found in possession of 56 grams of marijuana“.
