The police are looking for this witness after the subway shooting in Oslo

The police write in a press release that the witness in question, who is pictured at the top of the case, was staying at Godlia Metro station when the shooting episode took place.

– The person in question may have filmed parts of the course of events with a mobile phone. It is emphasized that the witness in question is not connected to the case, in addition to being able to possess recordings of interest to the investigation, the police write in the press release.

Charged with attempted murder

At 20.15 on Sunday 15 August, the police received a number of reports that shots had been fired at a subway car at Skøyenåsen subway station.

Two people were found with gunshot wounds on the spot and driven to Ullevål hospital. One of them was described as seriously injured.

Shortly afterwards, a suspect was arrested near the scene. He was later charged with attempted murder.

Denies attempted murder

The man’s defender has previously stated that the man acknowledges connection to the incident, but that he denies attempted murder.

The police have stated that they want a full forensic psychiatric examination of the man.
