The Poliambulatorio San Raffaele Termini takes the field together with AS Roma for International Women’s Day – Il Tempo

A free MOC to prevent osteoporosis, a disease that particularly affects menopausal women

On 8 March, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the San Raffaele Termini outpatient clinic takes the field together with AS Roma for a day dedicated to the culture of prevention and women’s health. The Giallorossi club has in fact decided to activate a network of health facilities in the capital to offer women various types of free services and screenings. The San Raffaele Termini outpatient clinic, ASL RM1, ASL RM3 and the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation will therefore take part in the initiative.

For the occasion, at the San Raffaele, official partner of the Giallorossi company, it will be possible to undergo the MOC free of charge, the radiological examination that measures bone density and mass indicated for the prevention and diagnosis of osteoporosis, a pathology that particularly affects way menopausal women. It will be possible to take the exam from 8:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 17:30 at the structure located in Via Giolitti 16 inside Termini Station, between the COIN and the Central Market.

Reservation is required by sending an email to [email protected] indicating the patient’s name and surname and a telephone number. At 10:30, together with the team mascot, Romolo the wolf cub, the Councilor for Security Policies, Productive Activities and Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Rome, Monica Lucarelli, will visit the Via Giolitti facility.
