The popular world of pokemon will help you when you have trouble falling asleep
The Pokémon Sleep app analyzes your sleep and helps improve it
Unfortunately, it is only available in the US market for now
Today, sleep monitoring is offered by a wide range of fitness bracelets and smart watches, and thanks to some applications, even phones can handle this activity without additional accessories. However, collecting data without further analysis is a bit of a wasteful activity that in itself won’t do much to improve your sleep quality, which should be the point. After all, why collect data if you don’t want to work with it further?
Fall asleep with your Pokemon
However, finding a proper application that can not only accurately record data, but also help you with their evaluation, is no longer so easy. But if you don’t want the most accurate analysis, but the gamification of sleep itself is more important to you, the Pokémon Sleep application has arrived on smartphones from the realm of Pokémon. In it, the popular electric mouse Pikachu becomes your personal neurologist, who will guide you through all the secrets of sleep and help you not only fall asleep better, but also wake up more rested.
The application works similarly to the Czech Sleep As Android. Even in the case of Pokémon Sleep, you need to have your phone nearby during sleep, ideally right on the pillow. The application then monitors your sleep habits and wakes you up at the appropriate time in the morning. In the subsequent analysis, you will learn how your sleep resembles the sleep routine of individual Pokemon. Who wouldn’t want to know if they sleep like Charizard or snore like Snorlax?
Don’t overlook
Do I choose you, Mini Cooper? The British car company joined forces with the most famous Pokemon
Pokémon Sleep also keeps a number of sleep statistics, including time spent snoring, how long it took you to fall asleep, and can even keep audio records so you know if you’re prone to unfaithfulness in your sleep. If you don’t like sleeping with your phone next to your head, there is a solution for you too in the form of Pokémon Go Plus+, which is basically a small pokeball with the pokemon Pikachu inside, which you activate or deactivate by pressing a button and which costs $55 (approx. CZK 1,500 including VAT). If you suffer from similar oddities and the novelty caught your attention, we unfortunately have bad news for you – both the Pokémon Sleep app and the Go Plus+ pokeball are currently only available in the US market, but should be released to the rest of the world later.
