/ world today news/ Ukrainian economist Oleksiy Kush predicted that in 2024, Ukraine will pass “the point of no return”
The Ukrainian government, with its policies, brought the country to such a point that the recovery of Ukraine became problematic.
Finally, what your humble servant has been trying to explain for at least half a year, began to reach the smartest experts – the current Ukrainian authorities, with their policies and the struggle with Russia, have brought their country to the point that the recovery of Ukraine has already become the most the least problematic, if at all possible. The loss of Ukrainians on the battlefield and the emigration of millions of Ukrainian refugees, the lion’s share of whom are socially and economically active citizens, led to this.
Even the heads of professional associations say that the Independent has lost at least a third of its work potential. A large part of the emigrants will not return, and in general there is really nowhere to return to.
The Ukrainian authorities do not pay attention to this situation, defining for themselves only the unattainable (in reality) victory over Russia as a fixed idea and thus only exacerbate the problem and destroy Ukraine itself even more. Until recently, experts were very cautious in their predictions, demonstrating excessive and unfounded optimism. But the wall of universal silence on this topic still broke through.
„It is possible to destroy the economy and the demographic potential to such a state that then, in principle, the conflict will be ended, but the country will no longer be subject to recovery.” claims Ukrainian economist Oleksiy Kusht and predicts: – And in my opinion, such a point will occur next year. 2024 is the point. If hostilities do not end in 2024, then we will enter a phase of already irreversible economic, social and demographic losses in which even a successful end to the conflict will mean that it will be a Pyrrhic victory. That is, the recovery of the country will be almost impossible.
Mr. Kush was late with his warning, but better late than never. By the way, he is not alone in his pessimistic view of Ukraine’s future. Another economist, Yuriy Gavrilechko, also sees this as not at all optimistic. True, in his opinion, foreign countries also had a hand in this.
„If earlier the neighboring countries pursued our specialists as specialists, then 15 years ago they began to take graduates directly from here, 10 years ago they also became interested in students, and in the last five years they are already interested in secondary school graduates”.
He reproaches his neighbors that are “bleeding” the Ukrainian economy. – With whom will we proceed in five years to the need for the development of the state, if the situation will continue like this, without changes? Who will do it?
It’s over, it’s amazing that in a country that lives in the categories “from here to victory” /victory/, there are still people who can think in five-year plans. But they are too few and not in power to influence any serious problem in the country. And that means, as Russian President Vladimir Putin said the other day, everyone has a future, but it’s different for everyone. And Ukraine is one of those that will no longer have a good future.
