This Tuesday, October 8, Beyoncé was moved to tears by her mother’s speech at the Glamor Women of the Year Awards ceremony, organized by “Glamour” magazine in New York. Tina Knowles received the woman of the year award in the “mothers” category, alongside Maggie Baird, mother of Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, Donna Kelce, mother of Jason and Travis Kelce, and Mandy Teefey, mother of Selena Gomez.

Her daughters in the spotlight
Beyoncé’s mother and Solange Knowles wanted to honor his daughters on stage: “They stayed by my side in the most complicated moments of my life and encouraged me in the best moments, making me feel that I could conquer anything. What I am most proud of is the human beings they are. How they managed to remain gracious, generous and kind and how they managed to put all of that into their art,” Tina Knowles told the audience.
