/ world today news/ The poet Velin Georgiev suddenly ended his earthly journey. The literary salon “The Ancient Phaeton” was left without its creator, and Bulgarian literature lost one of its brightest contemporary artists.
Tribute to his memory.
Symbol-I believe
To Velin Georgiev
The poet goes his way,
subdued and alarmingly quiet…
Even when advised
how to save your pain
he does not forget that in the hearth
after the burnt tree
embers overcome nothingness
with his thirst for life.
