The poet and poet Dmitry Sukharev (real name Sakharov), who wrote the lyrics to the song “Alexandra” from the movie “Moscow Does not Believe in Tears”, has died.
Sukharev was 94 years old. The poets Tatyana and Sergei mentioned his death Nikitin on his page and his poet Alexander Pravikov.
Dmitry Sukharev was a Soviet and Russian scientist, Doctor of Biological Sciences and one of the main actors of the original song at the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University. In collaboration with Nikitin, Sukharev wrote music based on Chekhov’s play, and together with Gennady Gladkov, the musical “On a Busy Place” based on Ostrovsky’s comedy, for which he wrote poetry.
The song “Alexandra”, as Sukharev himself said, was written in 1979 with Sergei Nikitin for the credits of the film “Moscow Does not Believe in Tears”. In 1981, the film received an Oscar in the category “Best Foreign Language Film”.
In the 2000s, Sukharev received the Andrei Sinyavsky Prize, and in 2001 he became the winner of the Bulat Okudzhava State Prize.
