Poco chose MediaTek’s 7 nm Dimensity 700 chipset to run its latest Poco M3 Pro 5G dual SIM 5G smartphone. This chip offers download speeds up to 2.77 Gbps, has Cortex A-76 and A55 cores, plus a Mali G57 graphics processor. The new cores are faster individually and much faster when working together. The new GPU also promises much more speed than the previous ones.
The 6.5 inch 1080+ LCD screen, with a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz, makes navigation much smoother and can also play video at 30, 50 and 60 fps. The maximum brightness is 400 nits and is protected with Gorilla Glass 3.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G has, at the back, a camera with a 48 MP sensor, plus two cameras with 2 MP for macro and depth sensor. At the front is an 8 MP selfie camera. The latter can be used to unlock the smartphone if you do not want to use the fingerprint sensor mounted on the smartphone’s leteral.
The battery of this smartphone is 5000 mAh which can be charged to a maximum power of 18W, the charger offered is 22.5 W.
Regarding inputs, the Poco M3 Pro 5G has a microSD memory card reader, which serves to increase the available storage space and also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Other features include an infrared emitter, which allows you to use the phone as a remote control and an NFC antenna for payments and other features.
The storage space that comes from the factory can be 64 or 128 GB and the RAM available to the chipset is 4 or 6 GB of LPDDR4X.
The operating system is Android 11 with the customized MIUI 12 interface.
Inside the box of the Poco M3 Pro 5G, in addition to the phone, you will find the 22.5 W charger, a transparent cover and a USB Type-C cable for charging and transferring data with a computer.
