The PNV snatches Alegría Dulantzi from the independents and they remain on the verge of an absolute majority, with 5 councilors. The independents of Koldo Garitagoitia, with 4 councilors, would need the support of EH Bildu (with 2) to be mayor, after the victory of Noemi Aguirre’s candidacy, with 100% of the votes counted. PSE stays out of the City Council and loses the councilor they had.

In this way, Koldo Garitagoitia, who until now had an absolute majority, not only loses it, but also becomes the second force, given the growth of the PNV, which goes from 3 to 5 councilors. Thus, EH Bildu will be the key to allow one government or another.
