(Bremen, May 2nd, 2022) With the new daycare center “An der Ihle” on Hindenburgstraße in Bremen, the fifth daycare center of the pme Familienservice Group opens at the location. In Bremen-Nord it is the sponsor’s first day-care center. From now on, 90 children will be cared for here and cooked freshly. Free places are still available. Parents can register their children now!
Bremen as a location is becoming more relevant
Under the umbrella of Global Education gGmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of pme Familienservice GmbH, the new daycare center “An der Ihle” opened in Bremen-Nord on May 2nd, 2022. In addition to the facilities “Sonneberger Straße” in Vahr, “Walljunioren” in Bremen-Mitte, “Turmkinder” in Bremen-Gröpelingen and “Im Tabakquartier” in Bremen-Woltmershausen, the pme Familienservice Group now operates its fifth daycare center in the Hanseatic city. In this way, the carrier is expanding its presence at the location.
Plenty of space and fresh food every day for 90 children
The cornerstone of the new building on Hindenburgstraße was laid in spring 2021. A two-storey building with a roof terrace on a total of 1130 square meters was created under the direction of the architects Frank Sieber. There is enough space for 90 children and the food is freshly cooked every day. “Created by nature, the Ihle flows from the source to the Lesum. And like the children swim in the river, we accompany them on their journey to adulthood. We have created a very special place of well-being for the children for this purpose,” says facility manager Svenja Schwarzkopf. In each of the three elementary groups, 20 children aged 3 to 6 can be cared for. There are 10 children up to the age of 3 in each of the three crèche groups. The facility only offers public places. The concept and construction of the new day care center was developed with the participation of Dr. Ilse Wehrmann, expert in early childhood education.
