The plug-in hybrid Citroën C5 Aircross has arrived on the Czech market

We first met the C5 Aircross model with a partially electric drive at the January motor show in Brussels, Belgium, and now it can be ordered in the Czech Republic as well.

Citroën thus wants to support sales of the popular SUV and is thus proceeding according to the plan for the gradual electrification of its model fleet.

Citroën will offer the C5 Aircross in four trim levels. The basic version is Feel, followed by Feel Pack, Shine and the most luxurious Shine Pack. Citroën then offers the model for a special price of 895 thousand crowns to start selling.

The basic equipment includes 18-inch light-alloy wheels, semi-automatic air conditioning or a navigation system.

The top specification of the Shine Pack starts at a price of 995 thousand crowns and offers LED headlights, leather heated seats or nineteen-inch wheels.

The Citroën C5 Aircross Hybrid will only run 50 kilometers on electricity.

Under the hood of the new plug-in hybrid from France, there is a 16-liter PureTech 180 petrol engine as well as an 80 kW electric motor, thanks to which the SUV has a combined output of 225 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.

Thanks to the battery package with a capacity of 13.2 kWh, the plug-in hybrid also enables a purely electric ride, up to 50 kilometers. All equipment includes an on-board single-phase charger 3.7 kW, for an additional CZK 8,000 there is also a 7.4 kW charger on offer.

From the home wallbox with an output of 7.4 kW, the car is recharged from zero to 100 percent in two hours. Shifting is provided by an eight-speed automatic transmission known from most models of the concern.

The plug-in hybrid C5 Aircross is a front wheel. All-wheel drive in the form of a second electric motor, as in the related Peugeot 3008 or DS 7 Crossback SUV with a double arrow in the emblem did not get.
