The full of Paracuellos de Jarama has approved today, in an extraordinary and telematic session, to undertake in the coming months 12 investment projects to “substantially improve and expand” the municipality’s infrastructure catalog, with an investment of 13.2 million euros.
Financing will be done charged to the remnant of the municipal treasury (which currently exceeds 17 million euros), together with 2019 budget surplus and the income obtained this year from the sale of municipal parcels, the Consistory said in a statement.
The mayor of Paracuellos, Jorge Alberto Campos, points out that the dozen of investments that have been approved will allow the municipality to “evolve” in areas such as culture, sports, security or care for the elderly.

According to the councilor, the town drags “A large deficit” of infrastructure for years, so he is confident that “will improve significantly” with these investments.
Build a new municipal library with an approximate area of 1,220 square meters, make a medicalized day center of about 1,500 square meters or condition a ‘square of cultures’ in the old town are some of them.
Will also be launched the first phase of the so-called ‘rugby city’, A sports facility will be built for different disciplines and the urban solid waste collection containers will be replaced and expanded.
On the other hand, the real street and the sodium vapor luminaires will be replaced by other LED ones.
