The play Torta y Leche by the Juan Catalina theater company will be in charge of inaugurating tonight at 9:30 p.m. in the courtyard of the San Agustín building the “Los Cristobitas” Puppet Show organized by the Department of Culture of the El Puerto de Santa María City Council.
A performance that will please not only children but also the older ones because it involves a return to the trades of yesteryear, to the songs, to the stories told by the fireplace to recall a time when people worked so that at home there was no shortage of cake and some milk.
To ensure maximum safety, the function will be developed in the courtyard of the San Agustín building turned into an open-air theater with actors made of cloth, cardboard, rods and gloves. There will be a capacity limitation and the locations will be numbered. It is worth remembering the mandatory use of a mask by spectators over 6 years of age to access the venue.
Three other performances will complete the show that will take place every Sunday at 9:30 p.m. until next August 15; The Musicians of Bremen (August 1), Chick in the belly of the ox (August 8) and Who am I? (August 15th).
