The play ‘Gruyère’ lands in Tordesillas on March 20 – Tordesillas al Día

Tickets are already on sale and can be obtained from this Monday in the office of the culture area between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Tordesillas continues to bet on a safe culture. Promoted by the City Council of Tordesillas, through its Department of Culture and with the support of the Junta de Castilla y León and the Provincial Council of Valladolid, the El Carmelo Auditorium welcomes different cultural proposals reaffirming that the world of entertainment and culture are safe spaces. It does so with the guarantees of a strict security protocol to avoid any risk from the virus.

On March 20, Carmelo will host the play ‘Gruyère’, starring Patricia Estremera and Alfonso Mendiguchía. A happy couple, a sad reality and three days ahead are some of the ingredients that the cultural proposal hides. Tickets, at a price of 4.10 euros, are already available and can be obtained from today, March 15, at the office of the culture area from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The play talks about Ernesto and María, who have reached forty at the time they have lost everything. Evicted and with nothing in their backpack, they are condemned to begin a descent into their particular hell on a way of the cross that introduces them to the three worst days of their lives. Three days to save your apartment. Three days ahead to find a way out that ends his sleepless nights. And in the middle of these three days, fortune – or bad fortune – puts before them a table of salvation. Clinging to it or not will depend on your skill and scruples. From there the countdown accelerates: you have to save your ceiling and you have to save your conscience.
