The digital platform that concerns the granting of income support to families permanently residing in Mountainous and Disadvantaged Areas for a period of at least two years, according to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family and OPEKA, has opened and is available to beneficiaries.
The amount of the aid is 600 euros per year, as long as the family income per year does not exceed 3,000 euros and ranges between 3,000 to 4,700 euros.
The digital platform will remain open for submission of applications until October 30, 2024.
Citizens whose 2023 application was rejected must submit a new application for the year 2024, in order to examine whether the conditions for granting income support are met.
Beneficiaries can also complete the process of submitting their request electronically with their personal TAXIS codes.
Subsequently, automatic checks and cross-checks of the applicant’s data will be carried out, while at the end of the process, the relevant notification will be sent to the interested party, by email or SMS.
Any beneficiaries who wish can also contact the KEP of their area, where accredited employees will undertake to handle the entire process on their behalf, up to the final filing and the relevant response.
Citizens whose application for 2023 was approved will be invited (via automated email and sms notifications), within the above time period, either by logging in to the application’s online address, or via KEP, to complete and update, in the pending application of the year 2024, the additional data necessary for the automatic crossings and then store them so that the necessary automatic checks can be performed.
After the electronic cross-checking of the data by AADE, they may, if required, be asked to fill in additional information in the application.
Then and in any case, they should proceed to finalize their application, so that it is considered in force for the year 2024.
