In its social role as a non-profit association, the Planet of Social and Humanitarian Love association made a blood donation on Saturday, September 7, 2024. The objective of this donation is to provide the FDS and VDP of Burkina Faso with blood for any need, according to Ousmane Sandwidi, president of the said association.
« We have noticed that many people are mobilizing, in several sectors for this peace effort in Burkina Faso. This is our way of contributing to this. The objective of this donation is to support our FDS and VDP who are on the front lines. They often have wounded people who need blood and it is also our role to at least guarantee this task. It is really to support our defense forces who are on the front lines,” he said.
So, several dozen bags were made available to the National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS), which in turn will be responsible for transmitting them to the Sangoulé Lamizana camp in Ouagadougou. It is also a way for this association to motivate others to follow suit. Because according to the president, this gesture is precious when one is in need.
« We contacted the Sangoulé Lamizana camp which intervened at the National Blood Transfusion Center. So they came this morning, they brought a team that collected bags. They will keep them and then make them available to the Sangoulé camp. These bags are for those who are injured at the front and who urgently need blood. Little by little, with awareness-raising, we hope that many can do the same.” the president wished.

The Planet of Social and Humanitarian Love Association is a non-profit, apolitical and secular association founded in 2018. Its objective is to tackle social and humanitarian problems in Burkina Faso. In addition to this activity, it has several donations to its credit.
