The plane with Rau departed from Warsaw on Tuesday morning, but when flying over Vilnius, the pilot informed that due to very difficult weather conditions – storms – the delegation was returning to Warsaw. At the airport in the capital, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the program of the visit would be changed, and the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the delegation would go to Lithuania in a column of cars.
According to the original plan, after landing in Vilnius, Rau was to first visit three towns near Vilnius – Ejszyszki, Soleczniki and Jaszuny and, among others, meet with representatives of the Polish community.
At. 22 Rau is to take part in a meeting of foreign ministers of the Lublin Triangle (Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine).
Rau is scheduled to attend the annual Ukraine Reform Conference on Wednesday. This will be the fourth edition of the meeting of representatives of states, international organizations, business, civil society and experts involved in supporting the reform process in Ukraine, organized since 2017.
