At the helm are three sisters, Meri, Alessandra and Valentina Tessari, fourth generation of winemakers in the province of Verona, an area where cooperatives are the engine of the wine economy. Until 1982 the Tessari family also delivered the grapes to the cooperative winery, until Giovanni and his wife Rosetta, parents of Meri, Alessandra and Valentina, decided to produce on their own, with the Suavia brand, to symbolize the strong bond with tradition and culture of this territory. Today a new great turning point, imparted this time by the daughters, is linked to the identification of the Uga. Additional geographical units, provided for by a new specification. I Luoghi di Suavia, a project born more than five years ago, which has given life to three different wines, the result of three different crus cultivated with Garganega, an indigenous white grape variety which together with Trebbiano del Soave constitute the only varieties cultivated by the winery . Even before the bottles, three rocks arrive at the table, of different colors and shapes, proof that each plot, among the most suitable, has its own particular soil and exposure. In order not to lose any degree of diversity, the three crus Fittà, Castellaro and Tremenalto Soave Classico Doc, fruit of the 2020 harvest, are now being put on the market for the first time.
