Ciudad de La Laguna has formalized a new addition to its first team for the 20-21 season. This is the pivot María Kostourkova, a player born in Bulgaria although she is international with the Portuguese team. 23 years old and 1’93 ”tall, he played last season for Celje in the Slovenian league.
Previously and in his university stage he played at Washington State where in his last year he averaged 6.7 points and more than seven rebounds per game. Last season she ended up at ZKK Cinkarna Celje in the Slovenian league where she averaged 16.7 points and 13.2 rebounds per game, numbers that guarantee the quality of this player who can come in handy in the purple team’s game scheme.
The new player of the purple team has been international with the different categories of the Portuguese team and was proclaimed champion of the Slovenian regular league in her previous team.
