In Russia, in the Krasnodar Territory, during training in a plane crash of a training aircraft L-39, Colonel of the Russian Federation Vadim Gurov, who participated in the war against Ukraine, died. This was announced on Tuesday, August 15, by the head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov.
In addition, he participated in hostilities in Syria.
As the Russian media write, the plane, on which Gurov was, did not enter the runway during landing and touched the ground. After that, he crashed into a short-range radio communications tower.
“Gurov died on the spot from his injuries,” reporters report.
With him on the plane was a senior flight instructor of the main flight test center of Akhtubinsk, Mikhail Lipatkin. He was hospitalized with injuries. There is no word yet on the severity of his condition.
Recall that in July, a MiG-31 fighter crashed in the Kamchatka Territory of Russia. He fell in the waters of the Avacha Bay.
