Telset.id, Jakarta – WhatsApp is currently testing ways to make it easier for users to edit photos and videos in the app before sending them. WhatsApp adds several choices of drawing tools or pencils to the WA photo and video editing feature.
For your information, WhatsApp only provides one image tool to WA users through photo and video editing features. Only color choices are provided by WhatsApp, and this is considered lacking by users.
WhatsApp is aware of this deficiency. The application also carried out trials by adding several types of pencils. As usual, this trial was first noticed by the site WABetaInfo.

Reportedly, WhatsApp is trying to bring 3 types of pencils to the edit and video features in the WA application. The location of the three stationery is at the bottom of the application screen.
sadly WABetaInfo does not provide detailed information about the differences between each pencil option, as well as when the feature will be released.
WhatsApp Voice Notes Can Be Heard Outside Chat
Before testing a new type of pencil in the photo and video editing feature, WhatsApp also developed a feature that allows users to open VN or voice notes outside the chat column. Still from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a feature that allows users to still hear VN even though they have left the chat.

That way users can switch conversations to other users, while still listening to the received recording. The feature trial was conducted on Android and iOS users.
For users Android, WhatsApp is bringing the feature trial to users via WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.3.1. As for iOS users, a trial of the new feature to open voice notes is presented in WhatsApp for iOS beta version 221.72 and WhatsApp Business for iOS beta version 221.72.
A voicemail player appears at the top of the screen, so users continue to listen to their voicemails as they move from chat to chat. Just like the virtual pencil feature, it is not yet known when the voice note feature will be launched. (NM/MF)
