TRIBUN – EAST. COM, MAJENE –The solar halo phenomenon was observed in the region Majene, West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar), Saturday (06/03/2021).
A number of residents also captured the appearance of the sun which was considered unusual.

This sun appears as circled in a ring or rainbow colors.
The appearance of Halo Matahari was responded to by Prakirawan Station II of BMKG Majene, Hadi Nur Rohman.
He said, the Halo Sun phenomenon occurs because of radiation / sunlight.
“Sunlight on its way to earth penetrates the Cirrus Stratus cloud layer or evenly distributed fine cloud layer,” he said.
